About ProPresenter7.com
An independent reference site for people who have to make ProPresenter work on a deadline.
Why this site exists
ProPresenter is powerful software with a steep on-ramp, and most of the people running it are volunteers. They are not full-time video engineers. They have a service on Sunday, a machine that was set up by someone who left two years ago, and forty minutes to work out why the projector is showing a desktop.
ProPresenter7.com exists for that person. We publish plain-English guides on downloading, installing, sizing hardware, configuring screens and fixing the things that break, without assuming you already know the vocabulary.
What we are, and what we are not
We are an independent editorial site. ProPresenter is a product of Renewed Vision, and this website is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. We do not sell licences, we do not host installers, and there is no account to create here.
Every download button on this site points to the official Renewed Vision download page. That is deliberate: mirrored and repackaged installers are one of the most common ways church media machines end up compromised.
How we research and write
- We start from vendor documentation and official support articles for anything factual, such as system requirements.
- We describe workflows in terms of what an operator actually does during a service, not a feature list.
- We avoid printing exact prices and build numbers, because they date within weeks and mislead readers who arrive later.
- We say when something depends on your hardware, your venue or your licence rather than pretending there is one answer.
Corrections
Software changes and guides go stale. If something here is wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us and we will fix it. Our contact details are on the contact page, and the correction usually goes live faster than you would expect.
Who writes the guides
The ProPresenter7.com editorial team is a small group with backgrounds in live production and volunteer media teams. Guides are reviewed before publication and revisited when a major release or an operating system update changes the answer.
