ProPresenter can participate in live-streaming workflows through features such as screen outputs, NDI, video inputs, recording, and supported streaming destinations. The exact workflow depends on the computer, graphics hardware, capture devices, network, and whether another application such as OBS or a hardware switcher is used.

Choose the signal path first

  • NDI: sends video over a compatible network.
  • SDI or HDMI: sends a physical video signal through supported hardware.
  • Screen capture: lets streaming software capture an output on the same computer.
  • Direct streaming or recording: availability depends on current ProPresenter features and hardware support.

Test frame rate, audio synchronization, network capacity, and failover before the event. Renewed Vision notes that some H.264 and RTMP functions depend on graphics hardware capability.
